    CEO since 2023. Extensive experience in Supply Chain & Operations in various industries like automotive, retail, consumer goods and industrial equipment. 17 years of consulting experience with Accenture and 9 years operational supply chain management with Swedish co-op Lantmännen.

    FOUNDER & CHIEF TECH. OFFICER

    Founded Lignin Industries in 2018. Extensive experience in biomass utilization and entrepreneurship. Also serves as a board member in deep-tech companies, Papershell and EcoHelix that has a common focus on leveraging and enhancing biomass sourced from the forest industry to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels.

    CHIEF COMMERCIAL OFFICER

    Joined Lignin Industries 2023. 30 years’ experience in leadership and sales-focused organisations on a global basis. Specialising in solution services and packaging development, covering a wide spectrum of segments from retail, FMCG, automotive and footwear & apparel. His career spans all sectors of packaging from paper, polymer and design.

    CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

    Joined Lignin Industries 2019. Extensive experience in scale-up and development projects in the chemical industry. Been in charge of scaling the RENOL® process from lab scale to tonne scale, and in charge of production and product development of RENOL®.

    Joined Lignin Industries 2021. Background in consulting with 20 years experience in strategic and M&A advisory. Prior employers include The Boston Consulting Group and KPMG. Worked with growth companies across a number of industries with a numbers and fact based approach.

  • Dick Carrick

    CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD

    Joined Lignin Industries as Chariman of the Board since start 2018. His career spans over six decades in the pulp & paper industry. His expertise extends to constructing multiple pulp mills, and he held a significant role as the owner of Domsjö Fabriker AB, contributing to its evolution when investing in lignin removal and ethanol production. He has served as board member and chairman in numerous start-ups as well as established companies, with an involvement in fostering growth and innovation across various business landscapes.

    Education: Civil Engineer, Mechanical Engineering, Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden.

  • Giovanni Fili

    BOARD MEMBER

    Board member of Lignin Industries since 2018. Founder & CEO of Exeger Sweden, a clean tech company that develops Dye Sensitized Solar Cells to harvest solar energy efficiently. Been a Board Member, Vice President and Partner of Nanologica AB, a Nano Tech material company that focuses on the bio-tech and drug delivery sector. Also been a Senior Advisor at the KTH Applied Finance Institute.

    Education: Master of Science, Finance and Information Management, Stockholm School of Economics.

  • Tommy Kullberg

    BOARD MEMBER

    Board member of Lignin Industries since 2019. Has an extensive career in the chemical and medical sectors, holding prominent top management roles in Europe and Africa. Established a strong foundation in Tokyo and played a pivotal role in leading the successful establishment of IKEA in Japan, and served as a Board member to Hennes & Mauritz start-up in Japan.

    He has excelled as a Commercial Counsellor at the Embassy of Sweden in Japan and chairing the Swedish Chamber of Commerce and the European Chamber of Commerce in Japan.

    Education: Dual major in engineering and economics.

  • Martin Roos

    BOARD MEMBER

    Board Member of Lignin Industries since 2019. Have an INSEAD-certified board director (IDP) with board and executive experience in telecom, tech, and biotech. Currently the Chairman for Seamless Distribution Systems and also board member of Nexam Chemicals. In addition to senior leadership positions with Ericsson, Martin has previously served on the Board Operating Committee of WOM (Chile) and was the CEO for Cable and Wireless Caribbean and Altice in the Dominican Republic. Also served on the Board of Directors of TSTT in Trinidad and Tobago.

    Education: MSc in Economics, Stockholm School of Economics. and MSc in Chemical Engineering, the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
