Fredrik Malmfors appointed new CEO of Lignin Industries AB
Lignin Industries is pleased to announce the appointment of Fredrik Malmfors as its new CEO, effective April 24, 2023.
Malmfors takes over from the founder and innovator, Christopher Carrick. Christopher Carrick leaves the CEO role but will remain with the company in a technical role as Technology and Product Development Manager. Since founding the company in 2018, Christopher has developed the technology from lab scale to a full commercial scale demo plant unit in Knivsta, Sweden, and grown the company to 17 employees. Fredrik Malmfors joins from Accenture where he most recently led the Nordic Supply Chain & Operations and Industry X teams and has spent in total 17 years with Accenture. He also spent 9 years with Swedish co-op Lantmännen from 2008-2017.

"Now when the company transforms from innovation to expansion and commercialisation it feels like excellent timing to hand over to an experienced leader like Fredrik, who has the drive and management skills to take the company forward."
Malmfors brings extensive leadership and Supply Chain experience and is committed to building further on the successful development that Christopher has overseen at Lignin Industries.
